How about MathPlayground.com? This site has games, puzzles, manipulatives, problem solving and so much more. One activity, Thinking Blocks, teaches students how to model multistep word problems. Another activity, called Math Apprentice, invites students to try out different careers that use math: scientist, restaurant owner, bicycle designer, and video game developer among others. There’s even a Spirograph app. Math Playground is well worth a visit!
